I noticed that there is a lot of tall grass along the highway that has a purple-ish seed head on it.

I have googled Switch Grass, Drop seed, orchard grass and little blue stem. None of which it seems to be. I don't have a pic But I'm sure you MO folks know what I am talking aobut - It's everywhere right now - in fields, etc.

    What is it? Anybody????

I'm just over the southern Missouri border...and when Ladonna and I were riding back from the Buffalo River Campout a little over a week ago I mentioned it and she said it's fescue (sp?) grass....also mentioned it's not good for horses. Hope this helps.
