why are my pumpkin vines withering up and dieing? They were beautiful and had pumpkins set. They are the Big Max Variety. I have a few left, can I do anything to prevent this from happening any further? Any ideas would be great, thanks!!!

Probably squash bugs sucking the sap out of your vines. Burn dead vines and next year cover with row covers if you want to be organic or there are sprays for them. Or it might be wilt.

Dishearting isn't it. One day they are fine and the next everything is wilted and dying.
