pumpkin seeds

    i had my wife keep some seeds from our homegrown pumpkins the other day and need advise on how to keep/store them so i can plant them next spring.thanks for any advise.

    Let them dry completely without getting them too warm. They are dry when they snap when you break them in half instead of bending. Then put them in a tightly sealed jar so they don't absorb moisture, and store in a cool dark place, such as in your root cellar. When you bring them out to a warmer room, let the jar sit for a few hours at least before opening it so the contents reach room temp, to prevent condensation on the cooler seeds.
