We heat entirely by wood heat..no central heating system in this old farmhouse. Unable to get natural gas and don't really want to try for oil or electric heat either ..so..Have a chance to buy a 3 year old propane vent-less heater. It would probably heat the house well and keep the pipes from freezing if we decide to visit family during these cold PA months. The propane company that I buy gas from for hot water and kitchen stove said they would charge me a $1 less a gallon for gas if I got a bigger "snowman" gas tank. Paying not $3.89 now..because the less you use the more it cost. So..what do you all think. We're not getting any younger to haul and chop wood and the cost of wood is going up and harder to buy lately. Any thoughts ..??
