propagation of blackcurrants

    I think you could carefully pull on the area that should have roots and tell if has rooted or dig very carefully to see if there are roots. My currants put up suckers quite a ways from the parent plant so these could be dug up and replanted farther away as another way to get more plants. Hope this helps. Rita in TN

    howdy been looking for black and red currents myself but as said in above post the prices are pretty high...would either of ya'll be willing to send me some starters?....thanks dale anne

    I actually dug out my big black currant bushes and threw them away. I found I didn't like the taste. When I was a kid I remembered eating them and thought I liked them then. Sorry. Rita in TN
