My husband's work will be laying to rest a 3rd fireman in less than 1 yr this week. It's been a tough year for these guys. The first one was Sept 30, 2007. Few months ago another died and now this one.
One thing good about this is it wasn't during duty. The first one was just getting off of work, blacked out at the wheel and hit a tree. The second one was heart attack on Easter Sunday. This last one, at the moment, they don't know why he died.
So if you think of them would you say a small prayer. I'm praying this will be the last one for a long time.
