For the folks who like to pray for others, I would like to request that you add to your list, a brother and sister named James and Sarah. Their mother died this week after a prolonged battle with cancer. 18 months ago, their father was killed in a farming accident. They are 21 and 18 years old, college students, and this is an awful lot for them to handle, even with family helping them.

Thank you, everyone. Their mother's funeral was today. They are our relatives, but live far away and we were unable to go. I'm not sure if the children are going to try to keep the family house, or if it will have to be sold. I'm sure their grandparents will take them in, if need be. They had her staying with them at the end, when she was too ill to be alone. They are a strong Christian family, but I believe nobody can have too many prayers said for them!

How sad they have lost both parents. It's bad at any time to lose someone you love but especially hard at Christmas time. My thoughts and prayers are with them.

I'm praying. I have a dear friend who is dying of cancer. She's a single mom to a college age DD. So, my heart was really touched by this story.
