Does anybody out there have a Power King tractor? What do you think of it?
We are going to go look at one which includes a mower, snow blade and tiller. Have never heard of these tractors before.

    Thanks.

Are you talking about the 1950's power king garden tractor or the Chineese made power king farm tractors. The garden tractors are nice although somewhat rare. the farm tractors are about the same as every other chineese tractor All from similar paterns. Fit and finish is sometimes a problem, parts are becomming more common but you have to search for them. If your looking for a tractor that your going to stake your financial reputation on then stay away from chineese tractors. If its a hobby farm where you use a tractor to save some labor then they are ok. I would never excpet them to last more than 5 years. They will of course but dont excpect it. Also dont plan on getting much out of it if you sell it.

We haven't seen it yet, but I think it is an Economy Power King. I think it is an older small tractor, the people who have it bought it used, 11 years ago. Don't know yet exactly what year it is. It had the motor replaced a few years ago, it is a Kohler motor. That's about all we know of it for now. We are going to go look this weekend, the people used to have acreage but have now moved to the burbs, said it is too big for what they need now, they want it GONE, ASAP. The wife is a co-worker of DH, he said she is anxious for us to come get it, didn't even care what price they get for it. We have been mowing and working our 7 acres with a variety of small yard tractors over the years, as we couldn't find a bigger tractor that we could afford. We are hoping this might be the one for us, guess we will find out soon. Just wondered if anybody here was familiar with this machine.
