Ok, here is the story. When you turn on the water it explodes out of the faucet. Maybe not right away but it does, lots of pressure, and a "POFFT."
It may do it several times. It does it whenever the water is running, even when the toilet is flushing!!! Sometimes once the water gets flowing real good it will stop.
Hubby adjusted the presure tank and that fixed it for awhile, read about 2 days, and then it started again. Almost all the air has been bleed out of the holding/pressure tank now. Also it looks like there are a lot of air bubbles in the water. When it first comes out of the tap it is almost discolored from air bubbles. After it sits a bitthey all go away and the water is clear.
We are on a well, seem to have lots of water. Never had a problem before. Does the same thing if it is hot water or cold. Dont think it water hammer as it doesnt do anything when the water is off.
    Any ideas???

You have a drain down valve installed on your pump line that is leaking.
The valve lets the water run out of the line when the pump is turned off and there is no pressure in the line (stops freezing problems) Air is being sucked into the line via this valve.

It will be on the well line inside the casing probally around 5 feet down.
