here is some background info on Jason

Jason had been dating seriously this gal named April....she got pregnant, they got married....he was absolutely thrilled at having a wife and baby on the way...

Victoria was born in March of 2005 with a genetic birth defect and had to have her kidneys removed...she didnt make it and died Mid May 2005....

April was devastated...they had a 1 in 4 chance of their next baby having the same thing....April couldnt handle those odds

they had a rocky marriage of April being depressed and Jason giving her everything she wanted...including a divorce in May 2006....he absolutely adored her and wanted her to be happy. She wanted more kids just not with him (because of the gentic factors)

My MIL called yesterday evening with news that April has died...she suffered from an asthma attack and died before she could get help...they said that her enhalers and breathing machine were out and she apparently had been trying to use them but she passed anyway...

Jason and April were still close despite their divorce...he had spoken with her on the phone just hours before he went to work...he was at work when his boss (April's dad) called him with the news

I dont think he is a Christian but God loves the lost too...please say a prayer for him as he drinks heavily when things in his life are going wrong.

    thanks
    Rachel

Oh, I'm so sorry. First his baby, then his baby's mother. How terribly sad.

    Prayers from here too. :(

Of course I'll pray for him..and please tell him so. That young man's plate is very full and overflowing right now. Sending cyberhugs along with the prayers.

Prayers on the way. My DH worries about the same thing with me. He has almost lost me a few times and is NOT wanting to be a single father. I try to get people to take asthma seriously it CAN kill.

praying for Jason and all his family and friends. So sad to lose those who are so young. I pray he finds comfort and peace and is able to turn to God in his hour of need.

Prayers for Jason and both families are coming from me as well. I knew 2 young adults who have passed from asthma attacks. One left 2 young children. Yes . . . it can kill and kill fast. It's a very serious disease and never should be taken lightly.

We have dealt w/ it w/ my 17 yo daughter since she was 2 and I myself have for about 10 years. I have been to my Resp. Specialist on Thursday and Saturday for an IV, shot, and neb treatments despite being on all the prescribed meds at home. It is very scary when you cannot breathe.

I will pray specifically for Jason to turn away from the alcohol to ease his pain. Poor kid . . . this is so sad. God bless his broken heart.
