Plants to repel deer or wood chucks?

    Hi all...is there anything I can plant in among my veggies that will repel wood chucks and deer? It would be for next years garden.

    I'd try a live trap on the ground hogs, and a electric fence for the deer.

    How much wood would a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck would chuck wood???

    Woodhhucks ...only thing I've found to work is a rifle. Used to try and scare them with a BB gun but it didn't work.

    Deer, I use an edging of any of the herb type plants that have silver/grey leaves eg santolinas, artemesias, sage etc. But putting down wire round the bed so they would have to walk over it works even better.

    I tried one of those "scarecrows" that sense any thing that goes past it and then shoots water out once. Biggest problem was I always went past and got wet!!!!
