Planting lavender in pots

    Finally I have found plants,at the local high school green house.I have tried to raise it for years with no luck.what mixture of potting soil and sand?should I use I know it does not like wet feet. mary

    Super soil brand would probably work well as it is fast draining.

    We mix our own potting soil. The 3 necessary items are compost, peat moss and perlite (or vermiculite). Super soil is good but expense. You can get the above 3 from Home Depot of other type store.
