We have suddenly got plagues ( hope thats how you spell it) of insects etc...Huge amounts of tiny grasshoppers, japanese beatles and something is eating my cauliflower. The cauliflower is a four legged pest. Thought it was deer. Now I'm not so sure. Last night we staked the dog out within 10' of the cauliflower. But this morning a couple small ones were nibbled down to the stalk!. This is a good sized dog. Plot hound (raccoon/bear dog). Could it be a **** or something else? The dog is old, probably sleeping but still....

Took the chickens out to show them the bugs but they didn't really catch on.
Will try milky spore but that won't save my stuff this year will it? thanks in advance. Lisa
