I'm just outside of Austin. I'll be travelling to Houston this Saturday morning and could deliver you any number of pigs. They are 1/2 Berkshire, 1/2 Hampshire, gilts and barrows. All are approx 3 months old and about 30 lbs.
PM me if you're seriously interested!

I have a friend who just had two litters of Large Blacks near San Antonio. These are rare, heritage pigs and they are not cheap but they are very good pasture pigs and are also very docile. Their herd has a very low CI due to good selection of breeding animals.

The advantage of going with heritage breeds is that you help to keep the breeds going. Large Blacks have large litters (usually 10 to 12) and each one sells for the same that you paid for their parents. Easy way to add good money to your farm income.

If you are interested, their website is http://southtexasheritagepork.com/
