Well, Phil is no better today than he was on Thursday. He has a fever again of almost 101*. Looks like it is back to the doctor tomorrow. He has not eaten anything since last Friday. He has had about 1/4 of an apple, half an orange, & a few crackers. That is it for the whole week. He tried to eat something tonight & got coughing & threw it all up. I just want my Phil back. I don't care if he is ornery at times. I'd rather have that than have him laying on the couch sick. :Bawling:

I hope he feels better soon Wendy. Maybe he needs a different antibiotic.

Is he drinking? I find cold pops help to hydrate and help bring down a fever. Hope he feels better soon.

Oh ouch! I feel for him. Hopefully he will get well soon.it's hard to beleive you WILL live through something like this. We use flat sprite or 7-up when that sick for hydration.

This sounds like the flu bug going around here. My sis suggests that starting 1 hour after they throw up, we start giving them clear liquids every few minutes by tablespoon. Just a little at a time until they are hydrated and can keep it down. If it is a virus then antibiotics won't help. I hope he is better soon.

    Wonderin' how Philip is?

True that antibiotics won't touch a virus...nasty things, those.

We use Gatorade for replenishing those electrolytes--it also doesnt burn on the way back up like Sprite will. (I personally think the stuff tastes like watered down koolaid lol)

Sure hope he's on the mend!!
