Is it OK to put Neosporin on my kitty's neck. She had a rub mark from her flea coller and the fur has gone. I have been putting peroxide on it for 3 days now. It does not seem to be painful. I have removed the collar in hope that it will clear up. Thank you

Yes you can put a light coating of neosporin on the neck. Is it an open wound or just the fur rubbed off? If it's just fur rubbed off getting rid of the collar was the important thing and you don't need neosporin.

It was just the fur rubbed off at first, but today it looks like she may be scratching it and it is somewhat red around the edges. Maybe it's in the healing stage. Thanks alot for your reply, this is my first time posting. My husband uses this site quite often.
