Does anyone here use perilla frutescens (beefsteak plant)? Have you noticed any difference with it? Has it helped your allergies? I know it grows wild around much of the country but didn't know it had medicinal properties. I just read that it is supposed to have anti-inflammatory and anti-allergy properties and wondered if anyone here had personal experience with that.

Well, we grow it here and use it to make kkaennip, which is a Korean side dish, good with rice and dumplings. I didn't know it was good for allergies, and I have my share of allergies, so I'll be interested to hear if it works (and what you're supposed to do with it)....
