Hi, can I transplant Peonies right now in TN? It's about the middle 50's during the day and 30's at night. They were my husbands grandmothers and I don't want to take a chance of killing them.

i dont know if you are supposed to, but i did a couple of years ago. just dig a hole big enough for the root ball, and cover it. if some pieces get broken off, you can plant those too, and they will come up. hope this helps.

I just transplanted mine. We're having the same temps and they were flooded a couple of weeks ago to boot! They are much sturdier than their delicate flower would have you believe!! :)
