Are peonies supposed to change color? They started out a beautiful pink, and after a week or 2, turned a nice creamy white, which then persisted for another week or 2 before they died. Is this normal?

Doesn't anyone know Peonies? :waa: I can't find color change mentioned anywhere I've searched.

What I do know about them is that they are heavy feeders. Perhaps they faded from lack of nutrition....I don't know.

Yes, they will fade. I don't think it means anything. The blooms just go such a long time. There are roses and some other flowers that do the same.
