After brainstorming with our fabricator we were able to find a way to reduce the labor costs without changing the integrity of the tub. By using 1/4" thick sheet stainless steel in lieu of 1/4" bar stock we're able to use a computer controlled water jet cutter to produce the same parts, but with considerably less labor.

In effect, it's the exact same finished tub, but with less welding and drilling needed. It's still the largest, strongest, and best manual tub on the market.

Compare our tub to the competition: https://www.lehmans.com/p-2398-lehmans-own-hand-washer.aspx?show=all

By the way, I've already sent rebate checks to all those who bought at the old price.

With all you homesteaders, I would have though by now someone would have mentioned the flat tire on the tractor!
Around here, a flat tire on the tractor is normal and thus unremarkable. DH is rather gifted at finding thorn bushes.

I looked at Lehman’s and I think yours would be easier to use, especially if someone had limited strength or mobility. Does yours have a lid? I few customer comments would help, I think.

No, it doesn't have a lid. The way I designed the edges, with turned 1' gunnels, water doesn't splash out. Even with the tub full, the recommended slow action of the agitator doesn't cause much turbulence on the surface.

I have an Antique one in the barn that looks just like that. I believe it is a "James". I'll check it tomorrow and take some Pics
Yeah, the James Washer is a tub, but only holds about 15 gallons vs 35, and the agitator arm is on one end, rather than all the way across. It's similar/same as Lehmans Own Washer. They've been making them about 25+ years.
