Oysters

    My wife says her father use to grow something in the garden that he used to make oyster stew. The vegetable tasted like oysters. Does anybody know what this vegetable is?

    Could it be salsify? Or skirrel?

    Yeah, Salsify, or Oyster plant...grew it once, and never got any bulbs from it :waa:

    I'd love to ry again if anyone has seeds!

    Salsify. Looks like a dark parsnip.
