Here's a picture of our home in the woods:

I mainly wanted to see if I could finally learn to load pictures in here.

Here's the pond we had excavated... finally full:

    And one of our gardens:

Thanks, we love it. Still have a lot we'd like to do.

    Here's more of our land:

    Our first corn crop:

The tree? We planted two actually, a red maple and a sugar maple. I wanted a Linden tree and had planted one there but it died... then the sugar maple died too (in the same spot, so it must be too close to the water line). I still plan to plant a Linden tree in that area, and want a weeping willow somewhere around the pond.

I think we could make room Sisterpine! ;)

Thanks Raven. It won't be long before it will all be white, Largentdepoche.

Zeal - thanks for directing me to the picture posting thread!

Westwood - we almost got a paddleboat but I decided a used golf cart would be better money spent because I use it like a workhorse to haul things and get around the property.
