any thoughts or opinions on a Browning semi auto loading .270 made in Belgium.
.270 is a popular cartridge around here for deer and moose.
what is such a rifle worth to buy in excellent condition?

A used rifle in good condition is generally worth about 70% of the value of a new one.

The BAR is one of the best hunting semi autos available. Google "Jack O'Conner" He said there was no need for any other calbers

So now this is in my hunting aresenal now. It was the last of the Belgium made BAR's in .270. After that, they apparently are made in Japan, and those sometimes have been known to jam up more than the flawless Belgium made BAR's.
It should be an ideal deer gun for me around here using 130 grain bullets.
