    yep -- I'm jealous :)
There are areas up by the lake (Erie) that are under a snow advisory at the moment. Where I am is just REALLY cold but not snowing.
Yes...I believe I have warm weather envy ~ lol

Thanks Dana...just what I want to see when we have had snowfall already on the ground. Well, at least this winter we will be heading south for a couple weeks. Hope to get to the Gulf to enjoy fresh shrimp.

Someone smack that girl upside the head! Get her with one of those snowballs, Rose!

Can't complain too much here, though, as we've had a super dry October and the colors were absolutely breathtaking. Right now it's raining and the gutters are overflowing...I think it's the beginning of Ark Season...

My garden is still growing. This is Ruby Red Perfection cabbage, taken this morning. I have cabbage, turnip, rutabaga, carrots, kale, mesculin, broccoli and cauliflower still going.

Dana, it snowed yesterday morning. In a 15-20 minute squall we got 1/4". Next snow's yours! I'll box it up and send it you. I get bummed without snow at Christmas too, and we often don't have any.

Ok, who's next? Whatcha got growing at your house?

I'm actually feeling chilly here in Alabama. Maybe because I haven't turned on any heat (don't know if we ever will) but we shut all the windows finally.

This is our payback time, this and early spring. As I told my friends in England when I moved away from them in June "I will be envying you your weather until about October!"

Dana, it was 28º when I got up this morning, but that's OK. We're going to remember you next July when it's 12,000º and no rain in beautiful Kenefick, Texas!!!

I've got lettuce, kale, broccoli, brussels sprouts, turnips, daikon, beets, scallions, mint, fava beans, carrots, cabbage and parsnips still going - we've even got some pretty flowers. My calendulas are hanging on somehow, and so are the dianthus and the fall sweet peas. It was 22 here at our coldest, and we've had a dusting of snow every morning for the last few days. There are a few flakes falling now, but nothing significant. Gotta bring the fig in for the winter.

I don't mind the change in seasons, personally - I look forward to winter. And I wouldn't trade our weather in July for yours ever!
