We have an older (10+ yrs) neutered tom. He has very bad arthritis, he moves from the food bowl to the bed and thats about it. We were taking him in to get a cortisone shot every few months, but they seem to have stopped helping. Does anyone know of or have a good solution? The poor old guy needs some help.

Have you tried glucosamine and chondroitin supplements (you'll still probably need the shots, too)? There are several out there made for cats.

I totally agree with GoldenMom. The glucosamine/chondroitin supplements are very good. We have two dogs, a horse and a 17 year old cat on them. The cat can jump up on counters and even goes on long walks with hubby and the dogs!
