Well I might have planted the okra to soon, but I have my fingers crossed . LOL Planted 4 rolls over 100 feet yesterday before a rain last evening . I don't believe will have a frost here in central Bama . Good Friday is the normal planting around here. I have plenty of seed if I have to plant over . but still I'll keep my fingers cross.

Okra likes it very hot. I don't even plant it down here till the first of May. It'll come up, but as long as your nights are cool it's just gonna sit there and not do anything.

I got overly anxious and planted too early. We had a light frost last week that nipped my okra but didn't kill it. It is sulking, however. Today's a planting day, so going to fill in the gaps and add a couple extra rows. We're big-time okra-lovers.
