A player for the NY Giants is in for some rough treatment. Poor guy broke some basic rule of safe gun handling and shot himself in the leg. His luck was such that nothing important was damaged and he will heal quickly. Now comes the great state of New ork to file criminal charges for the offence of having a gun in his home. How do you feel about this and are you glad you live somewhere else?...Glen

Stupid is as stupid does.....nobody should have a gun unless they know how to handle it safely.

and...it's pretty general knowledge that NYS is anti-guns...and their laws show it. Not that I agree with them, but if I lived there, I'd know what the laws were.
But there are concealed permits for NYS residents...maybe the guy didn't have one...NY just doesn't accept other state's permits as I understand it.

I still think it's ---- nice of him and his lawyer to turn himself in after they make a deal..Bloomburg changed the law in NYC and anyone caught with an illegal hand gun gets a 3 yr manditory sentence.I guess that meant just for poor people.
I guess there is liberty and justice for all the rich and famous ball players, just wish i was police commissioner, there would be a swat team knocking down his door and he would be taken into custody just like anyone else.
