I'm setting up a nipple watering system for my feeder pigs. How many pigs per nipple is workable? My plan is to use water collected in two 55 gal drums off of one of my outbuildings as a gravity fed water supply. Then feed the water to the plumbing through a flexible hose that will connect outside the pen (so they don't eat the hose). Any thoughts on the actual plumbing and support for it will be appreciated...

I don't know the actual number of hogs per nipple, but we have 2 nipples in the show barn with 10 hogs right now. No one is going without. Does that help?

They are not all going to drink at the same time.

Just don't let it run dry.

Thanks folks. I guess two nipples for eight porkers will work...
