Well I want to be sure and express my gratitude to Mother Nature....

We accidentally got yellow/orange brandywine tomatoes instead of red and they are fabulous....two tomatoes fill a quart jar.

Mother Nature has yet to turn the cold shoulder on my garden....truly unheard of this late in MAine.

I was worried because the planting season was late but it turns out that our little gardens have produced tons.....not to mention volunteer pie pumpkins in two compost heaps as well as cherry tomatoes. Still picking cukes!

Could you please send some of your luck my way? I haven't produced a single tomatoe, and everything is a bunch of dried brown sticks. I just can't water enough here in El Paso. Even with REALLY large containers, I would have to water 2 - 3 times a day to keep them from drying out.

Oh well, I'll just have to try my hand at a Fall garden since it's still 90 degrees plus here.
