Hi everyone! I'm an urban homesteader currently living in SW PA just outside of Pittsburgh. Right now I'm expanding my skills because we plan to move back to my home state of NH and expand to a larger homesteading operation. I'm glad that I stumbled across this forum!

Greetings Druidess! What part of NH suits your fancy? I spent a lot of time in my youth in Bartlett, just below Mt Washington.

Greetings Vjklander! I grew up in Salem, then Brentwood and finally Rochester but now my parents are in Ossipee and my sister is in Moultonborough so we're looking in the Lakes Region. I spent a lot of time there in the summers and now I want to live there year round.

Beautiful area. The first time I saw Aerosmith was at the Grange Hall in Ossipee, back when their lead singer was Steven Talerico. I could easily live there again Unfortunately, the house I lived in back then burned down a few years ago The guy we lived with when we were in NH was a dear friend of the Von Trapp family, so we visited them in Vermont often. Good times. Anyway, good luck with your homestead. It is a wonderful lifestyle and will be handy when the SHTF.

Exactly why we want to move up there and do so. There's nowhere I'd rather be when that happens because of all of the resources.

Sounds like those were great times! How interesting to have met that family, sounds like you've had some adventures.
