    Hi Jim

Best source for info (IMHO) is beesource.com; click on "the exchange" link for the forums. My choice of beginner books is "How to Keep Bees & Sell Honey" by the late Walter T Kelley; do a google search for Walter T Kelley Co.; big supplier & excellent equipment. lots of suppliers listed on beesource (one of the home page links is for suppliers) & not telling where you are located you need to watch prices; many times what may be a good price from one supplier may end up cheaper somewhere closer to you; woodware (inparticular) is heavy & shipping can get expensive in a hurry!

    Hope this helps!

    Lew

Gotta agree with beesource.com also, would suggest ABC's of beekeeping by Dadant. for supplies I use Rossman apiaries gabees.com ... Good luck.
