    Hey,

This may not be the best answer considering this is our first time with pigs. Our sow is 11 months and has had 3 heat cycles, and our boar is 7 1/2, they successfully bred this evening. So we're looking at 3 months 3 days and 3 hours going by the old timers. I know boars are sexually mature at about 6-8, and sows about 8. Which is just right for ours. But hope you get more posts. Just thought I'd add as ours bred this evening. Can't wait for piglets!!! :D

Our boar was that age too when he was able...as long as the sow is the same size. Best not to breed on their first cycle...we waited till Penny was 12 mths old. I don't know how to quote from previous posts...QueenB04....here is Oz our pigs gestation is 115-118 days, and that doesnt add to 3 mths 3 days 3 hrs...I would think all would be the same? :)
