Mom is a Hamp/Berk/Spot cross. Dad is a Hereford. Most of them look like Herefords - didn't expect that. When a friend crosses a York with our same boar, they come out white. 12 piglets born last night. Thankful...

Sadly, we are losing the runt. It looked very thin and weak from the beginning. It continues to weaken (day 2) and the sow pushed straw over it today. She must know it is going to die. She has been an amazing first time mom - very careful and talks to them when they get up near her head. She lets us rub her back as she nurses. She is a keeper! Sad to lose one though.
