I maintain when you see livestock that appear to be peacefully chewing their cud with a peaceful appearance, they are plotting ways to hurt themselves.
I have pulled sheep's heads out between trees and their stakes, in between concrete feeders and stuck between boards. The all time winner went to a 500-600 lb steer that somehow got upside down on its back inside of the concrete feeder. I had to put forks on the tractor and flip the feeder on its side...I managed not to kill it, despite its best efforts.
