Hi.We are getting 4 katahdin ewe lambs in a few days.Any advice for a beginner? We plan to keep them in a well fenced pasture next to the barn to get them used to electric fernce .Then turn them out on pasture using electric fence ,bringing them in nightly.Am i dreaming, or can this be accomplished.

Katahdins are very easy to care for, and are easy lambers and good mothers.
Your plan seems perfectly fine to me. A little bit of grain and they should follow you anywhere.
They respect electric fences well with little training.
    How old are the lambs?
Are you breeding them for meat?
