cantaloupe average about 1000 seeds per oz.
sweet corn is about 2500 seeds lb.
watermelon is 450 to 700 seeds per oz. it says this varies

    Mr. Dilley,
You can go to Johnny's Seeds (www.johnnyseeds.com), click on the particular veggie variety you have in mind, then click on cultural information, and they have listed how many seeds per packet and per ounce for that specific variety.
