    Hi all,

I haven't been around here for a while, life just got a little too busy with all the kids and animals. I had three new baby pygmies born a few days ago and I've ordered a rhinehart x-30 for disbudding them (should come today). I feel certain the tip will be too large for pygmies. Can anyone suggest the proper size? A friend suggested souldering a copper tip on, but I'll need the burner for my full size goats too. Any help would be appreciated :)

    Thank you

No, you'll be just fine with that. That's what I'm using on my Nigerian Dwarf kids - no problems.

    Wonderful! Thank you, friend :)

That saves me a drive this morning.

    Thanks again,

    That's what we're here for! :)

In fact, if you're disbudding bucklings, burn again just a bit further forward of your first burn - they have surprisingly large horn buds. I did two bucklings, and one of them has small (very small, so I'm not going to worry) scurs just in front of where I burned.
