I bought a pattern for a simple shirt dress, this one to be exact: McCall shirt dress
Anyway, I want it to be warm for winter, an everyday wear kinda dress. I was thinking of using corduroy, the problem is there are so many different weights I'm not sure which one to use. I figure the more experienced sewers here could give me a hand. I was thinking a lighter 18-22W, so it won't be really stiff but still warm. What do you think?

OHHH and for anyone whose interested, McCall is having a two day sale,,all patterns $5.99 until tomorrow!!
