National Do Not Call Registration

    It is my understanding that cell phone numbers will soon be released to telemarketers. If you wish to avoid these calls (or try anyway) you can register your number at the National Do Not Call site. Their link is:

    I got the exact same page when I went through the FCC. Must be OK.

    Scam? Do you mean the site is a scam or that the cell phone numbers being released is a scam? From what I can discern, the link is legitimate.

    Ive been on the do not call registry since it opened for my land line
    and the calls dropped dramatically
    The cell phone registry is not importenet - the numbers are not allowed to be called by telemarketers -YET. per FCC regulations, telemarketers are already prohibited from calling cell phone numbers using automated dialers.
