mystery plant

    I have a plant growing beside the house,I planted 3or4 years ago.I cannot remember what it is.It smells like citronella,it is spreading too.small mound of green leaves all winter never freezes out.I know is an herb of some kind.But what?

    Maybe a picture?

    I am not familiar with herbs really. Could it be lemon balm. :confused:

    I would guess Lemon Balm, too. Kind of low and spreads QUICKLY.......here anyway.

    How big are the leaves and what do they look like? My best guess at this point would be lemon balm also.......but if it is just slightly spreading maybe not. Mine spreads like wildfire :haha:

    It probly is lemon balm,it would spread faster but is kind of contained I have some edging around it.I,m getting so forgetful ,I need to start labeling my plants so I will know what they are :confused:

    If you want to keep it contained, be sure to cut the flowers off early. This place is covered with it, and I guess it can get kind of invasive.
