Well , he made his first escape today. He got through the fence where two wire panels hand come undone right next to a very busy forest service road. Luckily, I was coming back from town and saw he was on the wrong side of the fence. I whistled and he came running. Got him pushed back through the fence. He did not want to go as the grass is thick and deep outside the pasture. Turns out the owner is out of town and he might not have come to the people checking on the herd.
