I get to look at the chicks, and check out the wild and wet women at the sale. Says 50% chance of rain dangit.
Then Sunday we get to eat at church for our first Sunday feed. Me and nother bacher there sure look forward to that.
You got a good life, Bill. I know a lot of people don't understand that, but it's them, not you. I love a good church dinner, if I didn't have to listen to the preaching and all that, I'd go to them all the time.
We have one scheduled for next week. Pastor serves two churches, ours at 8 AM and another at 11 so the feast is scheduled for noon.
The women all try to do themselves up well for these things, so the food will be top notch. I used to take a cooked ham, but the last time I did this some ....-... woman turned the oven up to 375 and left it in all thru the services. Charcoal. The ham was already cooked--the kitchen lady just put it in the oven to stay warm. There was not enough edible meat left on that ham to fill a quart jar.
This time they will get Barb's brownies and some fruit salad.
