Well, I know it's summer time. The cold water runs hot from the tap and our fridge is always out of drinks, and the ice cube trays are empty.

Yesterday I made a gallon of sweet tea, outside in the sun. DS informs me at lunch time today there are ants in the tea pitcher, and while I probably would have spooned them out :nono: ds was disgusted and dumped out the tea. So I went to pour some water from the container in the fridge, it's empty. By then the kids were sitting down to eat so I poured a glass of milk for myself. I was going to pour the kids a glass too, I promise. But, it's milk, and it's so cold, and it feels so good when you gulp it down. And then I thought "man I REALLY need to brush my teeth" after about the third gulp I realized the milk was bad not my mouth, lol.

So, I didn't pour the kids any milk, and we had warmish water with lunch.

How about some haymaker's switchel? My DH made some a few days ago, and other than being sweet, it's pretty good...
