Im so excited. My doe went overdue a few days. But this morning she had one dead baby, and five live ones. This is a new breed. And I am really excited about bringing them into my herd. They are the weirdest, and cutest looking baby rabbits.

Ooh! Those are the red ones, aren't they? How red are they? I've got NZRs that seem quite red to me, but I've heard the ones you have are really zippy looking. :) How are they weird looking?

The buck that i have is alot darker then a red new zealand. The fur is way different too. The doe is a little lighter in color.

Oh, I love those Thriantas! I'd like to get some of my own but haven't looked into it too much as of yet... Don't know how they'll be on the pocketbook b/c they're newly accepted and popular right now, and I'd rather wait til the hype has gone down a bit on them.
How are they temperment wise? Where did you purchase yours?
    Thanks

I got one buck for $7 at the hillsdale MI livestock auction. And the other two were given to me. My doe is on the tempermental side. BUt the buck is pretty sweet. The average price for good thris is about $50 on up.

The camera makes them look alot darker then what they really are. IRL they look slightly lighter.
