Bonnie (our seven-month-old BC) just brought the biggest catfish skull to the house that I have ever seen in my life. It's the size of a baseball glove! At first we thought it must be a turtle skull (just couldn't comprehend a fish skull that big). I jokingly told my husband Bonnie had an alligator skull. We took it away from her and tossed it in the garbage bin (whewwww...). I came inside, got online and started looking up skull photos. Yup...it's a catfish all rightie. Hubby is walking over the the neighbor's to tell Mr. Bizzle. He said he had big catfish in his pond...now we have the proof!

:) Wow, our lil ole catfish here wouldn't hold a candle to that one!

Do you have to worry about fish poisoning there where you are? It is deadly for dogs here to mess with dead fish.

    Be careful...........LQ

Now why did you not toss that lovely, roly-poly fish head into the compost heap? I love it when I get dead fish parts for my garden!

And now I am thrown back in time to the old Saturday Night Live, and that goofy song (which can also be heard on various Dr. Demento anthologies): FISH HEADS!

    Fish heads, fish heads,
    Roly poly fish heads!
    Fish head, fish heads,
    Eat them up, YUM!!

I think I am giddy because Karen finally got her quilt, and I just started on my three-day weekend. :D

I didn't want that big scary fish skull on the compost heap! Plus, if I'd put it there I would have ended up with three dogs digging through the compost looking for their prize. :p

Remember, when the moon is dark, and a chill wind blows, and the hemlock tree is in full bloom, undead catfish skulls stalk the ones that disturb their rest....j/k
