I think they look too good to eat so I'm trying to sell them as pets. Of course nobody around here is calling because I'm not giving them away. I'm asking $25 which is the going rate for pet rabbits. Pet store or purebred rabbits sell for a lot more.

The Orscheln store here has pet and meat bunnies for sale lately along with the standard assortment of poultry the Lop's are going for $22 each and California's and New Zealands going for $10.

Any rabbit that someone will give $25.00 for may be to good to eat. However around easter anyone 8 weeks or older that wasn't sold for $25.00 would find itself hanging from the hind legs, then as the weather warms,on the barbecue.Best of luck to you on your easter sales.
