Is it ok to use mushroom soil as mulch around rasberry bushes, grapes, fruit trees etc or would that kill them?

Mushroom soil is just that, soil. It is leached manure that has had mushrooms grown in it. The mushrooms mycelial network metabolizes the manure and breaks it down into a usable state for use by plants. In other words, good black dirt.

Wouldn't really work as a mulch, and it won't kill your plants, it'll just make em grow better, along with the weeds..

Straw or wood chips would probably be a better choice for mulch
