How to take turkeys to sale? Could I just tie their feet or would they just flop around and get hurt? I was thinking of cutting a hole in a feed sack to pull over them so they can not move their wings too much. I am going about 45 miles.

I use a stock trailer.... but you could build your own crates... buy them... use a dog crate...

If you got cheap wire around I would make a Cage big enough for two but remember you won't get any extra for the Cage.

I have a couple wire dog crates I use. Any time I take birds to a sale I always label them with "cage does not sell"

And odd as it sounds, pack them in a little tight. The less room to flap their wings, the less they're likely to panic. A sheet thrown over the top and clothespinned on for the ride will help them too. No point in making them arrive battered and bloody.

Thanks for the replies. Never thought of the dog cage-I've got one of those. I just have to dig it out, haven't used it in years.
