How can I control the mosquitos on my property. I'v seen the pellets and the garlic solution spray. Does any of this work? We are cutting the long grass and removing anything that may hold water.

I know I cant get rid of them, but how can I knock down the population a bit?
Its a 2 1/2 acre plot with ~1 1/2 acres wooded and grass :help:
    thanks....

Put up some bat boxes and encourage some bats to live there!

Put up Purple Martin homes either houses or gourds. Make sure you have no standing water for mosquitos to breed in, tires, buckets, etc. :cowboy:

Try citronella plants, encourage frogs and dragonflies. Eliminate all stagnent water sources. Lots of things eat mosquito larve in the water and bats and frogs when they are fling. Avoid zappers, as they also kill good bugs.
