Hello and Good Sunday Morning Everybody!
I am taking a break to enjoy my fav coffee. We try not to do much beyond church and chores on Sundays. It is brisk and cold here so I am going to relax with a hot cup for a bit. How is your morning going? Here my fav cup of the day, made right here at home.

Good morning to you! I am enjoying my cup of coffee as well before I have to wake up the rest of the family. Sunday is the only day dd's are allowed to sleep this late but they have to get up for church here soon. Dh put in 70 hours at work this week so he's sleeping in until his 9:00 conference call this morning. Me, I'm enjoying the peace and quiet of the morning and the raspberry white chocolate creamer I bought for my coffee yesterday. Hope your Sunday is a great one!

I am enjoying a quiet moment myself. I put the coffee on and made some oatmeal for breakfast. It is cold and windy here today. The snow of the past 2 days is blowing around creating drifts so there is no point in shoveling yet.

Good morning! It's cold an blowy here this morning, and I've got a steaming cup of java sitting in front of me. DH has banned me from his office (I have a feeling he's wrapping presents :) ) so I have a few minutes to relax before I get going on my chores.

Don't you just love that morning coffee in the quiet before everyone gets going?

Good Morning!:)

I too am enjoying a relaxing morning for a change. Going to start a big breakfast soon, planning on roasting a chicken with all the fixins for supper (YUMMY)! Thats as far as I've gotten.

We are going to get our Christmas Tree today! We are very jazzed about Christmas this year. Maybe because I have a child back at home living with us (?) I don't know... but it exciting all the same. :p

It's lightly snowing here. Should be a very pretty day to walk through the trees!

Have a nice day everyone!!!:)

Good morning. It's about 30 here in Arkansas. I'm sitting in a room I built in my barn that I can live in while I'm building a house. Today, after it warms up, I am going to lay a small concrete block foundation for a wash house here near the barn.

Bright, bright, bright sun here today!
Oh yeah.
I can do the laundry and some outside stuff!
I too am taking it slow this morning.. as in I just rolled out of bed.
Lucky me.
And I am only awake because I had a phone call from a gal the next town over who is going to give a flock of Aurecanas tomorrow.
yippee again!
And I am enjoying some half-caff with cinnamom and sugar and irish cream creamer.. not my favorite.. but it was stupidly cheap at the salvage store.

This mornings oatmeal was yummy. I added some raisins, topped it with some colonial style custard eggnog and fresh ground nutmeg. Instead of coffee I am having blueberry tea sweetened with a touch of honey. I am now warm, full and cozily wrapped in blankets here on the couch. I think I'll go back to bed once the afternoon movies start and just have a lazy day today.

Yooohooo!! I'm here! <plop>

Witterbound, we did that last year :) Barn is up, built a little room to stay in while we built the house area. (insulated chicken coop was our first "room"). It's a long slow process...but WOW is it worth it!

Been a fast morning here already. Set rye bread, actually FOUND one of the corners in the livingroom! :banana02: Apparently we haven't seen it since last Christmas...there was a box of ornaments in the very back of the corner. (ooooo....bad housekeeper....bad anntann)

Time for a cup of Earl Grey tea and the last of the whole wheat test loaf (GOOD test) slathered with butter.

It's the "cleanup everything and then put out Christmas decorations" day. I've apparently managed to get some kind of infected ear, it hurts, so I need to keep moving so I forget about it :( Can't think of a better way to forget about pains than to do Christmassy stuff :)

Artificer is out at the farm this weekend, and today he's taking care of the 6 turkeys destined for dinners,(altho he JUST called to say he was still in bed while the fire got roaring again) so I have to clear out room in the freezer, too. although....since it's below zero at the moment, that may not be at the top of my list to do. The birds can just er, chill on the porch ;)

Well hello Ann!
It has been awhile! Say, how old would you say my turkeys are now? They are getting to be a nice size. Still holding out to see what is a Tom and what is a Hen! I think I may have a clue though. My break was long over and I must go back out again. Have a great day everybody, thanks for sharing a cup with me.

Good Morning Everyone, I just finished my first cup of good strong black coffee made by my Hubby. Now I'm awake and ready for the day. He and I both slept late this morning.

We're having a heat wave here today. The temp is already 46 and rising. I need to hang out some clothes while it is warm and sunny.

Hubby is laying the floor covering in the living room and I am staying out of his way. He is doing a fantastic job.

Have a wonderful day all.

Our newly diabetic cat, Silver, woke me up this morning, sharpening her toes on a wicker cabinet in my bedroom. She can't do *much* damage, as she has no claws on the front, but she wouldn't quit, and I was listening to fibers tear. Her plan was clearly to wake me up. But after I hollered at her, I went back to sleep. *hah, take that!*

A little bit later I got up and used the restroom. She wants to come sit on me. I can see it in her eyes. She has tried it before. I think I will start closing the door on her. Wee pest.

She was a giant pain, got underfoot every step, kept up an incessant yapyapyap while i got her shot and her food ready. Constantly underfoot. Then she wiggled excessively during her shot. Afterward, she snubbed the food (!!), :nono: then she came and sat on me while I was coffee-ing and online.

God knows this is why people have outdoor cats!

Then I shredded taters for DH and my breakfast (no blood from shredded knuckles!) (woot!) and fried up them and some eggs and made fresh coffee.

I have some gift-wrapping, some clothes-finding and some crap-stashing to do today. Oh, and I think I should chase that cat around, yeah!

Just getting going. I have hypoglycemia pretty bad, and so I eat plain yogurt first thing before breakfast (so really, what this means is that I'm a hobbit and eat Breakfast and then Second Breakfast, decaf coffee with both). Stayed home from church, everyone just left, I need to make a cake for 10yo (!!!) son's birthday party this evening, and lunch for everyone when they get home. Oh yeah, and clean up the kitchen after 3 teen boys "cleaned" it last night. They forgot to wash the coffee pot, too. :nono: Good thing they're so cute.
